2010 is the celebration of 200 years of independence in Chile.
To celebrate, Black Demon Motorcycle Club organised a national motorcycle tour of Chile with the help of local motorcycle clubs in each destination. The route was:
Chiloé - Lakes / Saturday January 30 = (448 km)
Los Lagos - Lautaro / Sunday January 31 = (190 km)
Lautaro - Design / Monday February 1 = (245 km)
Conception - Rancagua / Tuesday February 2 = (415 km)
Rancagua - Viña del Mar / Wednesday 03 and Thursday February 4 = (199 km)
Viña del Mar - Coquimbo / Friday February 5 = (442 km)
Coquimbo - Copiapo / Saturday February 6 = (336 km)
Copiapo - Antofagasta / Sunday 07 and Monday, February 8 = (570 km)
Antofagasta - Iquique / Tuesday 09 and Wednesday February 10 = (439 km)
Iquique - Arica / Thursday February 11 = (307 km)
Today, I stumbled upon the memorial in Arica (the end point - and last city before Peru) to celebrate the journey that brought Chiliean motorcyclists together to celebrate their country.
