Rollin past you, I gotta turn around

Who wouldn't turn around and wanna closer look to a special piece of eye candy like this gorgeously 'bad boy' restored Phoenix, parked on the side of the road?

Upon closer inspection the garage it was parked outside was in fact one of Sydney's best kept secrets (and this one, I'm not gonna share the location of - cause it won't be a secret no more now would it?). It's the "Do not park here day or night cafe".

Beautifully converted garage with an eclectic mix of recycled and new furniture, this has your local cafe round the corner kinda feel. Pop in, say G'day, have a cup of coffee, and be welcomed like a local. Enjoy the peace and quiet in what is normally a manic city.

This cafe is the brain-child of interior designer and motorcycle restorer, Lucas. His philosophy is simple "there's no need to work hard in a busy cafe. Food should come from a place of love" he said as he handed us a glass of water to refresh our thirsty palate. Careful to keep it that way, Lucas stressed that he likes his cafe being a neighbourhood affair, quiet and relaxing 'by all means put my cafe on your blog, but please respect my location, and don't disclose it'.

And why would I? I hate it when my favourite cafe gets overrun with the heaving population of Sydney DINKS and the quality of food goes down the drain because they're too busy to make it consistently fabulous.

Opening hours are easy to determine. "If the roller door is up, we're open. If it's down, we're closed."
