Meares is one helluva kick arse cyclist! Back from neck injury in a velodrome accident from 2008, she wasn't going to give up. Two millimetres more in her neck injury, and she'd be a quadriplegic. In times like those, you don't think of what could have been, but instead, be grateful for what is, and then stick to your guns and get back on the horse!
