100 years on, you're still going strong

We've all been following the hundredth anniversary of Le Tour de France and we're all on the edge of our seats. Big names have been pushed to the bottom of the rung, and Lance's final attempt at the Yellow Jersey has been all but lost. New kid on the block, Andy Schleck has been pushing the old hands and Cadel is injured again.

Today's session goes through the col du tourmalet. This is the same area of the Pyrenees as the original Tour riders. No longer usually included in modern day tours (due to the degree of extreme difficulty), this year's is in tribute of 100 years of le Tour de France during stage 17.

Recently, the col du tourmalet was conquered by Rapha, who created a documentary tribute saluting the original riders. Rapha's team rode new bikes with as similar as possible products as the original Tour cyclists. They drew the line however at compromising safety - instead of the glass containers with candle, they used modern day hallogen lighting products.

Their inspirational tribute ride is in documentary style is below.

Good luck today boys! Here's hoping you can say: "SHUT UP LEGS" as you go over the mountains!
